If I didn’t come back to the resort, it would be because of the AC issues. The refrigerator never got really cold either.
Not in the room during the day, but the nights were hot. We were on the 3rd floor of Building 4 and the elevator right next to our room didn’t work. We went to two shows, they were good, not the best I’ve seen, but good. Hibachi is normally a favorite at resorts and it was extremely hot in the restaurant and the food was just okay. One night the wait at the Italian restaurant was very long, but where do you have to be? We just enjoyed visiting with one another. Edher at the pool took care of our group at the pool and he did an amazing job.įor the most part, the food was good. Pathy was our wedding coordinator and she was beyond amazing. If I were rating just the wedding, I would give 5 stars. My daughter was married at this resort in May 2023. I enjoyed my stay, but will not be returning. The hotel never followed up after their investigation of our room (i.e. Most seriously, I had money stolen from my wallet in my room despite having no guests, locked doors, and never taking my wallet outside the room, but their policy is that guests should use the safe provided for valuables. I also waited over 30 minutes for transportation one night. Throughout our stay, I had to nag and make multiple requests for certain services like dish collection following room service which left our room smelling like food overnight and plates potentially attracting bugs. I was very unimpressed by the food compared to Secrets the Vine which had better quality and selection, although was pleasantly surprised by Seaside Grill, which was the only meal where I genuinely enjoyed every dish. We opted for the walk-in pool room, which was not ideal because the pool is laughably small, more like a walkway, and it put us on the ground floor which felt like a basement and was loud at all times of the day with service staff and guests using the elevator. The resort is beautiful with excellent housekeeping details twice a day, access to a nice beach, 24/7 room service and a cafe, kind staff, transportation around the area connecting to the Dreams resort, and nice rooms with bug spray provided.
